Flower Photography

As the days grow shorter and the nights colder, I often find my self looking through my gallery. Shifting past the images, each capturing a moment under the warm, summer sun that once was and today i decided to share some of my favorite images i have taken of various plants :- D
Perhaps next time summer rolls around, I can use a bit more experimentation with my photos.

London and Checking Out Me History

Writing essays is always the worst. But you know what makes it even more painful? Having to do it at home whilst there are an endless number of things to keep you entertained. Nevertheless however, I sucked up my complaints and the following are the result. It is a comparison essay between two poems from the power and conflict cluster.

Flatlands- A romance of many dimensions

Urhg maths. I know how important it is and yadda yadda but as interesting as it might be, could someone ever write a book about it (that is not a textbook)?? I mean I certainly would not be inclined to read something as migraine inducing, let alone for entertainment! So, me deciding to read Flatlands was quite an arbitrary decision and was honestly quite shocking considering the very sight of numbers makes me hurl. But now that I have finished the book and given it some time to settle in, I can finally give my thanks to Edwin A. Abbott for giving me a chance to read a novel like no other.

I am oh so very bored.

I am bored. Oh so very bored. There is nothing for me to do… except for being bored. I mean, I could do some chores and maybe do some work, but I am too busy being bored. Sorry clothes piling on my chair, sorry dishes festering in the sink, I am trying my very best to do nothing. But am I truly bored? What does it even mean to be bored? Well after a bit of procrastination I decided to search it up and it seems it means to be weary because one is unoccupied or lacks interest in one’s current activity.

Macbeth Essay

Ah yes, everybody loves a good English literature essay. Especially when it is timed and assessed!!

Jokes aside, if you are planning on using this essay as, ahem, inspiration, it is important that you have clear structure in the paragraphs and include sufficient evidence for the points made (these are my EBIs on this assessment). Now without further ado, the following is the culmination of stress and my flailing brain trying to piece together coherent sentences 😀

You killed me! book review

A lot of people think that the bigger a book is, the more satisfying and better it is to finish. I know this because I used to be someone with that exact mindset. That is exactly why I was slightly hesitant and admittedly disappointed when I first saw the book that I had received as a gift. To me it seemed like a children’s book. Surely Michael Morpurgo’s mudpuddle farm was denser than this? How on earth could an author condense a complex murder story into such a small number of pages? AC Revelations Book Review

I honestly feel betrayed after reading this book.

I have to say, I really wanted to enjoy it. At the beginning I was extremely excited. I mean, it is part of a book series based on the Assassin’s Creed games! I was curious to see how the author would write their own original story based on the source material. After all, you can’t just write out all the cutscenes of the game in a bland, written format; there has to be some creativity to keep it interesting… right? AC Revelations first impressions

And so, my growing and somewhat unhealthy obsession with the ‘Assassin’s Creed’ franchise continues, now in the form of a book (Assassin’s Creed Revelations to be more precise). I was intrigued by this book, not only because it had AC in its title but also because I was curious to see how they would portray the story of a game in the form of a book.

A beast

The air was sauna hot. Sunlight danced between the leaves as the gentle hand of the breeze ran through the trees. My hands clamped tighter around the railing. A small crowd began to gather like hungry vultures flocking around a carcass. Dozens of eyes darted around the enclosure. The sickening smell of sugar intoxicated me as a young child frantically stuffed wisps of candyfloss into his mouth. The gentle rhythm of breathing danced around me as everyone eagerly waited, slowly drawing in breaths of air. I anxiously look at the ground when the air suddenly went stagnant with silence. I look up. Continue reading “A beast”
